Default Damn it!!!!

I didn't realize how close Suncoast was to me. It's only about 4 hrs away. [:@]

Heck, it I'da know that, I be sportin' a new tranny and converter right now and not worrying about shredding this one.

Ohhh well, I guess it'll wait until the next trip home.

I'm in the same boat as you with the Tranny deal. It's a shame to have all this power at my fingertips but can't even use 1/3 of it because of the stock tranny.

I've been itching to do it just so I could start going overboard.

It sucks knowing that even with as relatively mild as the Juice is, it still blows through the TC without even breaking a sweat.

The only time I crank the power up over Level 3 is if I'm already moving at 45+ and even then I only do it lay down a cloud of smoke on a tailgater. I slips the TC quick even doing that.

I found that if I keep it in tow/haul mode and am doing around 55mph , I gave give it a lot of fuel but not enough to drop out of 4th and I can lay a pretty good cloud of smoke without slipping the TC.
I don't have the option to select levels on the fly [:@]

I do the exact same thing with the T/H, but if I lay into it good on 4 or 5 the slip meter starts climbing.

I almost always drive around own with the T/H mode on. It performs so much better (to me) with it on.

You're good up to Level 3. No problems of slippage up to that point. But, as we were saying above, run it with the TH mode on if you're gonna hammer on it at all. Shifts firmer and and you'll see that your tranny temps don't come up as much.

Anything higher than 3, while it certainly is fun to play a bit, will eat your tranny alive.
