Hey drew, what can cause me to only make around 400miles then? weight only?
is the weight of my rolling gear is too much wince i got dually, big tires and 90lbs of spacer each side?
i got the std 3.55 in the pumpkins
im not the only one whit big tires,i tought that running lower rpm is the key but u run higher and still get much better mpg than me
i picked up around 60mile more out of a tank since i got my new meat too....
when im gentle whit the go pedal there is no smoke out of the tailpipe so im not wasting fuel...i was thinking my vp was prolly toast causing this but if it were spilling fuel
it show by the tailpipe right?

I haven't seen 450 miles yet and I have the 3.73's and 285/70/17's. I can only break 15 mpg if I keep it below 70 mph with a 25 mph tail wind. It really sucks that my mileage sucks. I'mgoing to try Drew's Brew though. I filled up today and added it to the tank. Hopefully it will help.

550-575 for me here. Im happy with that. I may be able to extend that a bit more but it too hard not to spool up the turbo.

dont be disapointed if it you not see an improvment.... i ran it thru a few tanks in a row and did not see any increase... i just had the comfort of knowing things were better lubricated.

Well I think it is fuel quality that plagues our rides. My current tank is getting horrible (by recent standards for me) mileage and the truck is running like crap! The tank before I got 19.8, and the three tanks before that were 20.18, 20.10, 20.15mpg. All these were hand calcs and the truck was running like butter. I filled up at a station I use often, and on the way home it started running like crap and mileage is nose diving.

Fuel quality makes a huge difference... I've found a station that I feel I can trust, and I try to fuel there as often as possible.

That's the thing, I used to use this station then I stopped for a while becuase I got some bad results. Then I used them again and got great results, now thier fuel is crappy again. [:@]

I am right with Drew. I have 4.10s and the 6 speed and i almost always get around 550. I got into the 590's once, but it made me nervous.
