thinking of replacing my clutch fan with electric fans,anyone have exp with these things

In one of the mags was an blurp on Flex Lite coming out w/ an electric for out trucks. It isn't on their site yet but you might be able to call em for more info.

Until they have one capable of the cooling capacity that we need, you will want to stay with the clutch, you can add aa electric fan as a secondary, but not primary especially if you run any load at all.

Plus, since the ECM controls the clutch fan, at least in our 06's.... an electric alternative may set a fault...An electricfan would have to pull a ton of current to flow the air the clutch fan does, Idoubt there would be any gain in efficiancy. An auxilary fan in front of thecondensor with it's own stand-alone control logic may beok... are you having performance issues with your current setup?
