I think it is because with real tires and rims they look almost like the monster slicks you would see on some of the old muscle cars, which were acceptable to be partly hidden by the body.

Some cars and trucks DO look good slammed, but that aint one of em. I've seen some Daks that looked pretty cool slammed.

+1 i have seen some nice lowered trucks.. but there is too low! o well is wat it is... they're truck they're taste!
