if you do get the pergo stuff you wont be dissapointed. . .I just put down 600sq ft of the stuff in my house to replace the ageing carpet. . .best thing Ive done
Yeah, I've put itPergo in my bathroom. I was real apprehensive about it because of the water, but it's held up just fine. That's what got me thinking that way. My Pop knows of a guy who put it in his trailer and he likes it. I waswondering about other brands though. Do you really think there's a difference? Looks all the same to me.

I don't think I'll be ready for any long trips as early as Easter. I'd like to get a couple of local trips under my belt first until I get a better feel for how things work. I also want to rip out the carpet in the bedroom, it looks pretty shabby. That's why I'm thinking about doing the entire floor in something like Pergo. Nice, easy to clean, and seems to hold up pretty good.
I have zero experience with triple towing. I didn't even know it was legal. I don't think I'd have the balz or teh skilz necessary to even attempt to triple tow through the city.
I would like to hook up sometime in the not too distant future though. I'd like to get a better look at my future truck up close and personal.

This may be premature, but I might as well show you the rims that I'm waiting on. They're from Weld Racing, the Velociti Series, 19.5's
The Rears:

And the Fronts:

Oh, and sorry but, I'm also installing an GPS transponder......I'll always know where it is!!!!!!
What are them tow mirrors you got? Are they the McKesh? I tried 4-5 different types of add-on mirrors and these were the best hands down. What I didn't like about the ones that slide over the stock mirrors is there small, and when you travel down the road they vibrate and you can't see anything in them. The McKesh may be dorky looking, but in my opinion the best out there. I can atest to the nasty bite of the RV world. In 1997 we bought a new 24ft fifth and a half ton truck as were tired of the tent seen. Here it is 10 years later and the 1/2 ton grew to a 1 ton dually diesel, and our 3rd and current fifth is 37 foot long and I tow my boat behind that. If this addiction continues I'm going to have to visit my friendly freightliner dealer soon! As for triple towing, each state has its own laws. Here in Michigan you can legally triple tow with a fifth wheel only. I thought about taking my trailer and bike down to Florida but triples weren't legal in Georgia and I think Florida also.
Go for it Mayfair... my brother does it all the time he buys used RVs refurbishes and sells. Hes done floating floor, marble, lino and ceramic in his stuff and has never had a problem! Don't know if you have or have not thought about a stablizer hitch for yours or not, just to help with cross winds or winds from on coming Rigs... just to keep her straight. Brought mine home without stablizers,29ft cherokee TT 8700lbs m/t(shes real tall and not that the old girl can't pull her)got the bars made a big difference in the wind and oncoming traffic.
Yeah, the guy I bought it from threw in the hitch. It has some sort of stabilizer bar on it that you hook on, and them turn this little lever thing around and around until it's snug and then apparently you're good to go. He reccomended that I remove the stabilizer part before backing into thee site though. When I towed it to my parents that thing didn't wiggle a bit. It was pretty cool !!
Riv, those rims are SIC !!!! I can't wait to see em on.

Riv, what do you use for the inside dual with those wheels? I don't see how either of those could be used on the inside. Do they give you steel rims for the inside?
