i was just curious what all you guys read and subscribe to.... i recently bought an issue from both "8 lug" and "diesel power" and found then to be pretty much the same (which isnt a bad thing). im thinking about sending away for a year subscription to one or two of them but im curious to what y'all think is the best one?!?!

 

Diesel Power & Diesel World both hit my doorstep. I like the tech break down in Diesel World; they take one component and just break down what it does & how it does it & how to make it do it beter . Both seem to stay away from the brand wars pretty well.


Found a couple issues of one called Diesel Builder but then it seemed to go away...anyone know why?

 

I just bought a 3 year sub to Diesel Power because I thought it was the mag that Triton was in. Aftewr I mailed it away, I realized that it was Diesel World. [:@]

Oh well ... still a great mag !!

 

I just bought a 2 year subscription to Diesel Power Mag. I personally think its the better one

 

Since I'm a cheapskate, I get Diesel World and my buddy gets Diesel Power. After we're done we swap 'em.

 

I have a subscription to Diesel Power. 've been too lazy to get one to Diesel World though I think its also good. They both cover more diesel info than just the Big 3 and I like that perspective. 8 Lug has lots of pimped up Sema style rides and though some are nice, there seems to be a lot of "looks over substance", "My %^&* is bigger than yours"......

I've gotten a few Diesel Builders and they have a lot of articles that show how to actually do stuff.

 

each months i bo to the newspapers stand and i grab diesel world,diesel power,diesel builder and 8lugs

im too lazy to get subsriptions :P
i think 8lugs is not available for sub yet but anyway its a great mag,
i just grabbed a copy of those 4 ,32$ for the lot...
yeah i know i can get sub. for 2 mag for 1 year at that price but here we need to had like 15$ per year....

anyway i gtg i have mags to read

 

i get all the same 3 8lug, Diesel World, Diesel Power. i need to suscripe to them it be alot cheaper lol. when i move into my new place i will to it

Everyone in my house got a HUGE laugh outta this line. I read it and chuckled...the hubby asked what I was laughing at so I read him your comment. At this point in time my mother walked into the room and only heard about 90% of your comment and was wondering what in the world you and your buddy were swapping.

 

currently I get diesel power. oramag, petersons off road, four wheeler, hot rod. rc car action, rc car, and a few atv magazines.
