Welcome to the Forum. In cold weather you can expect to be starting your Cummins when the Fords and Chevys are not. You can plug it up to help with starting, if you have the block heater cord.....

Congrats!!!! You wont be disappointed Welcome to the DF...lets get some pics of that truck!

As for cold weather....here is a collection of threads winter ???'s How cold is cold?

A lot of things can effect mileage; tires, gears, load, programmers, exhaust, intake, etc. etc.

I get mid teens w/ mine running around town; but I've got larger tires & straight piped.

Yea I live in PA and it sometimes goes down to 10 degrees. I had a little ford ranger and yesterday I just brought this dodge deisel. I think it should be a fun truck and should last quiet a while. I get to know the truck and about deisel motor thats in it. Any thing that requires maintained mouthly?

Welcome to the DF Jerry
You shouldn't have any trouble starting it at all in them temps, might get a block heater cord for the colder days...pretty optional though
Monthly maint....I add fuel every couple days
