Default RE: codes and air filter

P0073-INLET AIR TEMP SENSOR VOLTAGE TOO HIGH
Set Condition: The circuit voltage to the ECM is above a calibrated threshold for a certain
period of time.

P0483-FAN SPEED
Set Condition: The actual fan speed does not match the commanded fan speed.

#27 in the pic is called a air cleaner resonator. That is there because if you have too much flexible hose between turbo and airbox. The vacuum of the engine could collapse the tubing.

BTW... ETO means diesel

You can unhook the battery for 10-15 minutes and see if it goes away....

Check the connections of the intake air temp sensor. Several things could cause this problem. The sensor could be bad, the wiring or the ECM could be bad.

actualy the codes are stored in non volitile memory in the ECM. . .the only way to remove the code is if you know someone with a code scanner, programmer, or if the code is a one time fluke, it will go away after 5 full starts

I stand corrected. I have heard some people say that the battery un hook works to clear but never had any luck with doing it that way. I usually clear them with a diag tool...... thanks Drew...

The 073 was the code I got the other day when I didn't hook the air cleaner temp sensor back up after removing the intake tube[:@]
