I'm a member of the DHRA and NADM so no, I don't plan on going to any NHRDA events. I may go to the one in Fountain, Fl which is close to Panama city. I can't believe they made all the southeast events Fla.

parts/service ..... there's several events within driving distances from you.... I plan to be at all of them... I hope. I made my own little list of events I want to make it too

OK, I'll admit that I'm a rookie when it comes to diesel track racing. What are the differences between the three ( DHRA - NADM - NHDA ), and why can't you cross race from ont to another?

What do all of those letters stand for anyway?



Woli - Englishtown is one of the ones that I was DEFINATELY planning on attending !!

NADM - National Association of Diesel Motorsports They're brand new this year and is being run by maybe veterans of the DHRA. They didn't like how DHRA was ran so they started their own sanction. It promises to be the best sanctioned body out there soon which I don;t doubt.

DHRA - Diesel Hot Rod Association They been around for about 6 or 7 yrs now but, it's possible they may not be for long with the NADM in town now.

NHRDA - National Hot Rod Diesel Association These guys mainly were on the west coast but, are starting to build races on the east coast now.

Each are just sanctioned bodies put together buy racing enthusiasts to keep the sport safe and fun. Diesel racing is very new to the public and it's bodies like these that put together events for the racers and spectators.

You can sign up for any one of them... or not but, you have to be a member to race at any of the tracks where they're racing.

Whether I show up or not... you guys should go. It's in Baytown at the Houston raceway. It was a good time this year and should be even bigger next. This event is where the west coast and east coast face off against each other so there's a lot of competition

There's no need to pay the due for a body that would be racing in my area. I spent 20yrs in Fl. so I try to stay away from there as much as I can !

 

I live in Maryland, you boys decide to come down let me know.
