well. . .here is something we dont see often. . .last time it snowed around here like this was about 4-5 years ago. . .theres about 3/4 inch on the ground right now. . .oh, and how do you like my parking spot, I need to get some mulch to throw down.

I think I have you all beat. I live in Houston and Galveson Island on the Gulf Coast is about 80 miles from here.
In 2004 Houston saw some snow but what was more rare than that was Galveston got hit twice as hard. It still blows me away to look at those pictures of Snow on the BEACH!

this is probably the only snow we'll see this year. . .the rest of it will be ice.

The day after I got home from Iraq, I had to shovel 12" out of the driveway so I could get my truck out to get to my storage unit to get the snowblower[:@]
