My truck didn't come with a cat. I avoid the whole emissions check problem by registering my truck as commercial, over 10K. I've got a muffler back on now so I should be good to go if they start checking.

That's exactly right.

All Aero's that you see listed with an XL have a built in resonator, whereas the others do not. I have no clue what the difference is though because I think mine sounds exactly like Buzzy's, and I have a resonated version and I thin Buzzy went for the regular Aero.

I have the 4040. Its doesnt sound as good as buzzy's but I still have my cat on.

Man you ain't kidding. As soon as I got home from the muffler shop, it looked like crap!! And I'm glad it did because thats one less thing I have to clean.
Ya know, I thought about shooting the cue ball thru the Aero and send it to them and let em use it for Marketing. But that sucker is built like a cheese grater inside and probably would have destroyed my Cue ball.
