Explorer #7 .... why am I so scared ??
For about 3 or 4 months now, Nortons has been sending me these little messages telling me that I should update my computer to Explorer 7.
I FEAR CHANGE !!!
I've opened it up and looked at their little description and every time I get ready to pull the trigger, I bail out. I'm scared. I like things the way they are. Why are they messing with me?
Do I hafta switch?
Should I switch?
If so ... why?

Dont even waste your time with IE 7, Download mozilla firefox, way better than IE. I have been running FF for about 2 years now, I downloaded IE 7 just for the hell of it and it is slower, the security is not as good, and I do not like the interface as much as my FF even though they copied the FF completely.

You can even choose TONS of different interfaces for your liking too!

Another vote to ditch IE and use Firefox. Much better program in my professional opinion. Only thing I use IE for anymore is to download firefox right after a fresh install

Why not download Firefox and give it a try. It doesn't replace IE on your system, so if you don't like it you can still use IE with no pain at all.

You will have to do the update eventually...it is a IE plug in that does the Windows authentication for hot fixes & security patches.....you will eventually have to pull the trigger or you will start getting all sorts of nasty grams about not being able to authenticate your version.
But give FF a try! Then down-load the add-on Ad Block Plus....you will never surf the net w/o it again
