A local Fleet Pride in my area (obviously I said local) sells baldwin filters for my truck, are they any good?

 

The Baldwin PF 7977 is a 5 micron filter and it meets all of Cummins specs for both dirt and water. FYI the new Fleetguard is only a 7 micron so you can see that the Bladwin is a better filter and it filters at a smaller micron too.

Great. they are 6 bucks cheaper than a napa gold. and same as wix on rockauto.com. I like I can get them locally.

 

Amsoil use to sell the Baldwin filters and now there Donaldsons for some reason, but they are good filters...ANYTHING IS BETTER THAN A FRAM......Dallas

 

I would not use fram on anything except a Cheby

 

Baldwin is all I've ever used for fuel filters. Iuse Baldwin or Wix for the oil filter. Fram is a very good filter- for target practice. The orange paint really stands out!

 

The tow company I used to work for many moons ago used nothing but Baldwin filters in the fleet. Never had any problems at all.

And DBLR, thanks for the Micron info. I didn't know that. I'm going to have to quit using the fleetguards and go back to Baldwin.

Now, where to find Baldwin here in the nether reaches of Nevada!!!
