RE: What do yall think...
I'd look for three things:
1) Lift the hood and see if the bolts holding the fenders/hood to the body have any paint chipping/scuff marks. When a truck is at the factory it is assembledthen painted. If the bolts show wear, the fenders/hood boltshave been off (front end accident).
2) Make sure all of the door jamb stickers are still on the body (T bone accident).
3) Crawl under the truck and see if the skid plates, or bottom of the frame, have any battle damage.
Either way it's a sweet looking truck!

You need to have someone run the vin number to make sure warranty is all good. I came very very close to buying a truck out of state and the day before I left I ran the vin to check the differential ratio and it was a completely voided warranty. If you call a local dodge service dept most of the guys will do it or parts/service could do it for you.

RE: What do yall think...
I will do the vin check... I hope somebody on here can do it though.
I just test drove the white 06! Man that thing runs strong!! It hasnt been started in about 3 weeks, and the battery was a little low. I tried to start it and it clicked.. 10Seconds later tried it again it turned right over and started up(30 degree weather too!)
The tranny shifted better than the red truck... So I am leaning more towards the 06 now. One thing I hate about dodges is their tranny, so i pay very close attention to it! It has power, but needs a edge programmer on it I would say
My dad and I are going to go look at it tomorrow. I had my truck priced there for trade in and they would only give $11k for it. So I am going to sell it on my own. On Saturday my truck will be on autotrader[]
The 06 seemed quieter than the 05 did for some reason... It doesn't bother me because it will be straight piped anyway.
I will keep yall updated!
Any opinions or help is greatly wanted! thanks guys!!!

I ran an autocheck on the 2005 VIN 3D7KS28C45G853183. And it was registered in Vicksburg, MS in May of 2005.
The AutoCheck score was 91. But it came with the recommendation below.
Storm registration/title refers to information reported to us that a vehicle was registered or titled prior to the storm event in FEMA designated storm damaged area. Storm events can include hurricanes, floods and other natural disasters. While a vehicle may have been reported as titled or registered in an affected area, it may not have been damaged by the storm, or it may have been moved to safety during the storm. We recommend a thorough professional inspection of the vehicle to confirm no storm damage.

Wrong type of vin check, one I was talking about is from chrysler to see warranty work done, build sheet data, warranty issues, etc. Just call a service dept that you plan on using, tell them your situation and concerns and that you plan on taking the vehicle there in the future. I called the same guy about 10 times when I was looking for a truck.
Something else to take into consideration when deciding to trade in or sell outright is the tax difference. Since you dont pay taxes on the trade in amount you have to make sure that you will get enough for it to cover that difference.
