Do yourself a favor and give your wife YOUR truck and get YOURSELF the CTD Mega, otherwise YOU'LL be complaining later that you made a HUMUNGOUS mistake !!

My dad owns a Mega 3500 Laramie H... He'll be trading it in for a QC dually flat-bed here shorty.... No complaints on the truck... the service at the dealer is about as poor as it gets, but that varies from dealer to dealer. I have the QC SRW laramie J and LOVE IT!!! The front suspension is a little screwy, probably becuase I'm used to Fords... and No manual hubs from the factory sucks, but I'll be doing the conversion soon. Bottom line, love the CTD and I'll probably be in the 5.9 common-rail family for a long, long time.

Don't do it. You will never hear the end of it about how her truck is bigger, badder, torquier (is that a word?), tougher, etc, etc, etc. Just kidding. Go for it. My wife used to drive a CTD before her work commute became longer than mine. Now i get to drive the CTD tow rig every day. She'll love it. Oh and if you have young kids they can't kick the back of the seat in a mega cab like they can a quad cab. Ask me how I know.
Stephen

And a shameless plug for my current mega cab for sale.
