Yeah I got really lucky. I knew he wouldn't be able to let my trailer sit in his driveway with 7 boxes of flooring and 20 lenths of trim and not start it. He has nothing else to do !!
His friend has done this in 2 or 3 other trailers, so I had no problem at all letting them do it. Next I'm going to have him replace the screen in the front door.

Even though it is a floating floor, it looks like they used glue in the seams. Thats great since you will be going in and out of the trailer and possibly getting water/dirt on the floor. Btw Mayfair, the correct term for it is Laminate flooring
Lmainate - Sch-laminate ... I'll always call it Pergo

I don't think they glued the seams. The glue was for the corners of the trim pieces before they nailed them in. VERY professional !!

I would absolutely LOVE to take that trip with you Riv !! I just don't see it happening. I'd like to take at least one somewhat local trip in the trailer before heading on the big road. I've got to familiarize myself with how everything works. This is my very first real "camper". Prior to this, I crashed in my motorcycle trailer which I had no problem doing since I built the thing. I'm still not even sure how to release the poo-poo yet.

I can't believe you are bailing on Mardi Gras. I'd love to experience that at least once. The closest I've come was the fantasy Fest in Key West. What a party !!
