Well, the long wait is over. Next week I pick up my truck from Garmon's. I'll have pics and video's in roughly9 days and need new tires shortly after


It looks like the airfilter got sucked into the intake tube. square filter + round tube = gaps. dust and sand got through the gaps and "dusted" my turbo, sand blasting the fins and destroying the seals. the sand/dirt then got in the oil and spun a bearing. He couldn't find a leak in the engine and there was no seal in the turbo so thats the conclusion.

 

It is finally here! I picked it up last Friday for him (I'm the "old man" he talks about). I'll let Shaun tell you how it is when he gets out of survival school (1 more week). Thanks to Jeff and all the guys at the shop, it drove great on the 150 mile trip.

And here's the outside. I still have the old damaged bumper guard on the front, trying to get a pre-runner to replace it soon. I also have the old turbo and I'll try to get pics of here soon.
