Default megacab longbox conversion

What do you guys think of the megacab longbox conversion? I am thinking of doing this, but I would just put on a flatbed instead of a box. I really don't need a box, and I would think it would keep the price down.

If I had it to do all over again I'd buy a brand newMCLB I think they look real sharp. Only $6500minus $ the long bed you won't need. Go for it.

you can order it that way through a dealer in Texas; they have the conversion done for you

the $6500 is pretty steep, but I'm checking into what it would cost for everything minus the box. I don't plan on driving the pickup around town much, so parking it wouldn't be an issue, plus I live in a town of 100people. I mostly want it for the ease of turning, and backing a trailer. I haven't talked to anyone with a megacab shortbox, but I had an extended cab shortbox, and I hated backing up a stock trailer with that thing. Plus the mega cab would be sooo nice to travel in.

I know $6500 is a lot of money but I think it's a bargain for the work done on that mod. www.innovativecustoms.net They're in Utah. I bet the way you're doing it without wanting a new factory long box bed on there that would save you some money.
