Screw this rebate, I dont want it. I read the article on it on msn.com and its just like the rebate of 2001 I keep hearing about. You get say $1200 now and in 2009 you file your taxes and your supposed to get back $800, guess what, you dont get it back you now owe them $400. You are simply borrowing your money because you will have to pay it back in 2009. This may be ok for some of you who get refunds every year but I am self employed so I owe money every year and dont care to owe extra. I really dont care about all that but what does get me fired up is that the only people who truely benefit are the people who dont pay taxes to start with, they get 100% of the benefit of this and we have to pay it back, people who actually pay taxes to start with. I am so sick and tired of this crap.
