Get this, didn't even think about looking when I bought it, I just thought hey "New Tires" Cool.. Now after 2 months of owning this truck I bend down to take a closer look at the tires and found out they are 4 ply rated tires. WHO in their right mind would put 4 ply tires on a 1 ton dually?? Anyways, instead of whinning about it, what would be the best 10ply tires to put on this beast.. I pull pretty heavy loads around and need a good set of tires. Any ideas???

 

I put the Firestone Concourse on my 04 48k ago and they still look good. I haul a 27ft trailer pretty much everywhere I go. I like the Michelin but I cant justify twice as much for tires. My last set I got 70k and they were'nt in the tread bars. Its all pretty much in what you want to spend.

I would go with the Bridgestone Dueller AT Revo, guys here in Missouri are getting tons of miles out of them and they are ten ply tires.

I was just looking at the tire rack site. How can you tell how many plys a tire is? I didn't see it listed.
