Now that I'm going Dodge CTD, I will miss the interior of my 2000 Chevy truck. Do any of you have a preference for either the bench or bucket seats in the new Dodges? They both look pretty nice to me.
As far as I can tell, there is no difference between the actual driver and passenger seats for the bucket seat option. What you get for the bucket option is the center console which replaces the middle fold down seat/armrest.
I asked the dealer prior to purchasing my truck, and I was told that the seats are the same. The center bench is remove and a center console takes its place. I am definately partial to the leather heated seats though, easy to clean and durable. I might change out my center seat for console in the future, I am going to keep an eye out for a used center console.
cool, thanks for the pics... IDK how louie would respond to removing his vantage point lol... he currently likes to stand on the center console & search for cows. I'd thought of yanking it out and setting him up with something better but havent figured out what would work best for him... damn that dog is spoiled...
the buckets are a little firmer than the bench and the console has two large storage areas. the bench seats have the cupholders on the floor where the cupholders on the buckets are higher and easer to reach. it is also lit on the buckets.
