if you are doing it for looks then you might be able to justify it but for performance it would be more benifitial just to get a performance exhaust.

for looks it would work. You are gonna have to cut holes in your bed, or run them up the side of the bed. and its gonna have to be small tubing.

Two guys in my town have them, one on a dakota, and one on a little toyota. It sounds TERRIBLE. they are straight piped though, maybe a muffler could fix that, imo its not worth it though.

I think the only way to go would be with fake stacks. The reason is because your would have to run at most a 3" stack and lets all be honest that would look gay. But its up to you. I think if you really like the stacks just run the stacks you want and instead of cutting through the bed just weld the pipe flush with the bed. Then get a killer exhaust system and run it so its sounds good.

My favorite Dodge ever was my '95 emerald green Dakota, says the oilburner as he wipes a tear from his cheek.
Ahhhh....the good old days when trucks were so much less expensive!!!
Stacks will work on your truck, but what's the point? You can't produce volumes of choking black smoke!
Stick a nice Flowmaster system with some Edelbrock shorty headers and a nice CAI. You won't regret it. IMHO
