Default RE: How to tell if I have a posi (anti-spin) axle

the AAM axel "anti spin" does not work off the traditional clutches people are used to, instead it uses worm gears to push power from the wheel that is slipping to the one that is not. sometimes you have to put some resistance in order for it to engage. I personaly have not had that problem.

I have heard of some dealerships having to replace the entire rear axel due to the axel not being setup properly from the factory.
