So I assume this is the must-have muffler? (sorry, still new to the ctd)

 

its not really a must have, but for some reason its the one most of us have. i have never had anything diffrent, and im sure they are all good. i just heard someone talking about it on here, so i bought it and im sure most of us have done the same!

 

Nick, who did your exhaust work, did you do it? THe local muffler shops won't kill my kitty and won't touch my truck if its not there.

 

mine said the same thing, untill i said screw it im outta here. i told them if i cant remove the cat then its not even worth it at all and he said ill call my manager and see what we can do

that was the first exhaust figuration ive had, i have since done 4 other changes to my exhaust which leads me up to where i am now and i have done all those myself once i realized how easy exhaust work was.

KEEP THIS IN MIND: i found out a week later from a friend of the familys husband that works in a muffler shop. if you get them to take the cat out, and im sure you will if you stick to your guns... make sure they give it to you. without thinking i let them have my muffler and cat and what the guy told me is they make a KILLING selling them on ebay and other sources like that used. take a look for yourself, they are worth money in the used world! i wish i would of known because i myself could of sold them and got some money back. plus if you ever had to put them back on for what ever reason i would find it hard to buy back things you once had!
