I think the lawyers are afraid that calling it a "roll bar" will either encourage people to roll their jeeps or assume they will be safe ifthey do so.I know it sounds stupid but I'm sure this came about because of past litigation. I have a 3 foot ladder that has a label declaring " do not stand or sit on top of ladder. Serious injury or death may result."

Most of that stuff is usually related to lawsuits. Look at the lady that sued McDonald's because she spilled coffee in her lap and got burned, so now they have to have a label on the cup telling you the contents may be hot.

Hell I still say britches, comes from being around my grandmother a lot when I was a kid. I get lots of weird looks when I say it at work.
Always remember what Rodney Carrington said, "Ding", "Whip your kids!" The ole guy at the walmart would say....I'll whoop the S$@t out of'em.
