front air locker anyone?
Well due to my recent snow stuck experience, i wont tell u but yesterday i show a pic of me being stuck, ive been stuck 4 times in that single day
at work i went near to a building to avoid removing my oxy and ace bottle from my truck even if i run 200' hoses.... i was stuck in a damn hole witch was covered whit snow so i didnt see it,
i was out by myself but all the folk there staring at beasty growling and putting coal in the air(thanks edge5-5) i know this what not needed but i love to entertain crowds :P
1 time by getting to my wood but once loaded i was out easy ,one getting to house as per pics and after i was unloaded it was kinda hard to get out of there...
so now its AIR LOCKER TIME any of u got one installed or tryed it?
im tired of spinning only 1 front tires when i need traction, the rear axle was turning all tires so its still ok but i need to upgrade front
any brand to choose?
anything to know before doing so?

I have an Eaton E-Locker sitting in the box, yet to be installed. No air to worry about. It only has a 2.2 amp draw. Works as an open diff with the power off. Hit the switch and it locks up. In any direction, at any speed.
It's a great alternative to air.
Good luck with your ride.

Woligator, do you have a 10-bolt Dana 60 front axle? There are many different styles of lockers available for the Dana 60. Check this list at Randy's Ring & Pinion. The ARB is probably a good choice for a front axle, since it acts like a totally open diff until you hit the button. That way you won't suffer any steering problems with a locker that is locking up just as you're trying to turn on a slippery street.
If you have the 9.25" AAM front axle, there don't seem to be many lockers available for it.

NOOOOOOOOO......lol. Not for sale, silly.
I am not gonna install it till spring time when it's warmer. My buddy and I are gonna attempt it ourselves. He can get a case spreader to do the job. I want to install it myself. For as much as I can do anyway.
This "paying" people to work on my truck goes against my religon....lol.
I am pretty sure the locker was $885.00 or $865.00 delivered.
I wish they had them for the Dana 70 and 80. I'd replace my Detroit in a heartbeat. I'm givin up way too much rubber. I'm only getting 15-20,000 miles per set of tires. I'm way too abusive myself. Any rubber I can save is worth the investment.
Ok, I have typed my limit.
Catch you gents later.
