hummmm,,, think I found it...
average 1/2 tank useage is approx 390~395 miles, I'm up to 418 & have not hit the 1/2 hash on the fuel gauge...
3/2 on the TST, RP = 2 & drive by boost... no more than 10 psi boost during the trip. yeah hills suck [:'(]

I bet. . .well, before I leave work today I'm putting my smarty back to stock and turning the TST off. . .I had alot of fun running around on SW#6 and my TST on 2/1 lit both back tires up at 50mph getting around an AMG this morning. the back tires didnt stop spinning till I hit the rev limiter and I was doing 98mph in less than 1/8 mile. MR AMG tried to spoil my day but quickly gave up
gunna be kinda hard givng up the throttle resonce and low end smarty has. then I'll load up the 30hp setting to see any difference.
I did run the 30hp setting for a little and it did wake up the bottom end nicely.

Wow! breaking the *** end loose @ 50...???
Maybe you can help answer a ? on the smarty... when you download different torque management programs, how does that affect your mileage? I saw on the link you sent that you can go from mild to wild and still have the different settings on the programmer so its confusing me as to how that works.

that I dont know yet. . .not enough data to truly tell mileage.
however from what I can feel seat of the pants is the less torque management the harder the low end grunt comes into play and the sooner things begin to get interesting. the stock software works good and realy woke up the bottom end that the TST lacks. mild and moderate were a bit more, but it was kinda hard to tell a difference other than when and how boost came on. the wild software has the torque management all but gone. in 2nd or 3rd I can see the left side of my truck raiseing up atleast 2-3 inches more than the right and thats not realy getting on the throttle. jumping on the throttle with wild causes traction issues, but the mild and stock doesnt do this. with SW6(130hp) and my tst on 2/1 (55hp) that equalsroughly 465-470hp going to the ground so you can see how I was able to break things loose even at 50mph.
I'll try and give atleast two tanks stock to give an average mileage then load the 30hp software to see how things work out. but just remember I got 18.4 with SW#4 and my tst on 1/0.

So tell me, what exactly is is being adjusted when the Torque Management is changed. Changing the amount of fuel injected, etc?

I was running my truck on the Smarty #3 setting with moderate torque management and did not see a noticeable gain or loss on one full tank of fuel. I have had to return the truck to stock to have the CP3 injection pump checked by the dealer. Next week after the dealer replaces the CP3 injection pump I am going to load the Smarty #1 on moderate torque management and see what mileage I will get. I will post the results for everyone to see.

basicaly the torque management keeps the low end fueling under controll so you dont rip your tranny into shredded wheat.
thanks drew...
I'd be curious to see how my tranny would hold up under the "shredded wheat" power levels
Saturday it's getting its 1st service since the rebuild... amsoil is going in it.
I'm so tempted to go get the smarty but with the front end rebuild coming & having just bought the walbro kit I know I need the smarty is going to have to wait [&:] hell, I just spent almost $k on my truck in January... and still need another $200 in parts (that I can think of) for the pump install...
