What about that 12v 2nd gen that you were talking about last week?

Why the HELL didn't you test drive something before you got rid of your baby?
It was a TAX thing, and the guy offered more than the book. I'm sure there is one out there that will suit me. The 6.7 just let me down, Maybe it was just the truck.

Did you test drive a C&C with 6 speed manual? IIRC that Dodge cut back the power on them as the manual would not hold up to the full power of the new 6.7L or some other dumb reason. Also are you sure it had 383 gears?

DB, it was a 3500 SLT dually. Nice truck but no Yank, I was dissappointed to say the least. But I did luck up on an 06 3500 C&C with 1400 miles on it. He quoted me 27k. I will check the hour meter right off the bat.

Ok, now for the dissenting opinion...

I've owned both a 2004.5 5.9L and now a 2007.5 6.7L automatic. Both stock. My seat of the pants tells me that the 6.7L runs circles around the 5.9L. Did you only drive one 6.7L? Was it a manual? The trucks with manuals are derated. The manual equipped truck I test drove when I was shopping was a bitch to drive and was geared way too low IMO.

Try the 6-speed auto with the 6.7L it is sweet.

Just my two cents.

Just my two cents. I think it might have been the truck, it was a manual and something just was not right. My 04 was a manual and it was more like driving a big sports car.

I currently own a 2007 5.9L manual, so I'm curious as to what you mean by this.
