WaltherP99 chambered with a .40 , 12 + 1 in the hole.
Joint venture with S&W the one i bought though is made in germany, not in Mass like most of the ones sold in the states.
The grip is the best grip ive used (they had someone laser cut them, he made grips for olympic sharpshooters) weighted perfectly. Put 500 rounds down the pipe the first day at the range.
Don't take my word for it, go to any gun dealer and ask them about it. I have the quick action, which means you can chamber a round, only have to pull the slide back a quarter inch to have it cocked enough to where a full pull on the trigger will fire the gun. It uses a firing pin unlike a hammer where it has to be fully cocked back to use. The gun has no safety switch (yes no saftey, again dont believe me ask a dealer) The decocker is great, just a push and the firing pin is brought back in, unlike with a hammer and you have to guide it back in. The mag release is on both sides, real easy lever action.
My buddy bought a .45 (cant remember mfg) has had it jam 7 times in over 400 rounds. Ive got well over 2500 rounds fired and never once had a jam. Rapid fire with 4 clips (48 rounds) in about 1.5 minutes, no issued with jamming.
if youre in the market for a rifle, i bought a tikka t3 lite stainles, .308, figure if the .308 is good enough to kill a human its good enough to kill a deer. it shoots quarter inch at 100 yrds (5 shot group), 1.5 inch at 300 yrds (just using sand bag, want to get bench rest to take out human factor)
both weapons were right around 600 bucks each.
