Default Power Seats leak down

Could anyone give me a hint why my power seat (driver side) leaks down?
This is in 2000 3500 with the Leather heated seats.

This happens even if my fat A$$ is not in seat?

Driving me crazy and fear the worst from the local "stealer"

I dont see how it would leak down, it is not an air suspension. it uses worm gears to raise and lower the seat

I realize it is not an air system, that is why it's driving me crazy.

Every morning I have to re-level the rear portion of the seat.

You can always get the seat where you like it an unhook the connectors to the power seat motor (or pull the fuses). You haven't pissed the wife off to the point that she's playing a cruel prank on you?

Do you have any kids old enough to drive? Since I don't see how it is possable for an electric seat motor to move by it's self, and from what you say it seems as if it's in the same possition every morning?
I place my bets on someone driving your truck while you are sleeping!!!!

Cujo has a good idea, remove the power from the seat and see if it still creaps down. That would rule out something electrical like a short or stray voltage .... or maybe the kids\wife.

Thanksthus far, no kids to prank me, wife does not like to drive my truck...besides every thing else is hers anyway as some of you know by expirence.

I will remove the fuse to the seat controls and see if this stops movement. This might
defeat wife if she is getting even for somthing.
