I wish you good luck with it. My '99 model started doing it sometime in '06. We replaced the tps thing, it kept throwing codes for camshaft sensor, so we replaced that and also the crankshaft sensor. Long story short, it still does it so it's been sitting in my shop for over a year now. I have everything to switch the vp-44 out to a p7100 except the injector lines, custom injectors, and the biggest thing...time. But as soon as I get the time, I'm going to start working on it. That's the only gripe I've ever had with this truck, is the electronic fuel system.
