FASS installed, now wont start,UPDATE,truck work now but still got questions
Woli, how much extra line do you have going to the f.p. gauge? What if you hooked it up loosely to the gauge, bump the starter, and let the fuel run out of the fitting into a cup. Then while its running tighten up the line.
i got about 12' of tiny line but ur idea is nice if i let fuel coming into my cab but since i got a fuel isolator i cant do that,i have to fill up the line whit a syringe....
Maybe its me, but is running a fuel line inside the cab a good idea? Back when I was playing around with my '72 pontiac, I had my fuel pressure gauge mounted outside attached to the hood in front of the driver. Maybe it was because it was gas instead of diesel, but it was a serious no-no to put the gauge inside the car.

I'm glad to hear that it was crossed lines that was causing your hard start problems. Runs a little better withit plumbed up right doesn't it?

Secure those power wires with some zip ties along the fuel line. You don't want all of that bouncing around that you do to pull those wires right out of the FASS motor do ya?
What's that little thing that you have mounted above there ( above the date ), something for the fuel gauge?
Not sure why, but my fass blew a fuse today. Luckily I had one with me, popped it in and conitnued driving. Went the napa and picked up an auto reset 30a breaker and put it in isted of the fuse.
Look for something like this sticking out of the wiring haness. Its fairly close to the batts aprox 2 feet away. My fuel gauge went to 0. I shut the truck off and bumped the starter, still was at 0 and I couldnt hear the fass running so I knew it had to be the fuse.
So you replaced the fuse with a breaker type fuse? Why didn't you just use another fuse?
What do you think made it blow in the first place?
Did it blow why you were driving, or when you were trying to fire it up?
