What's with this Royal Purple ad ... the one up top of each forum page? Is it me, or does it look like adding Royal Purple will drain your fuel tank?

Where's the savings?

I just don't get it?

If you would finally get up the nerve to switch to firefox you can put ad block on and you get no annoying ads. Amazing how much faster pages open without all that crap. According to the counter it's blocking like 15 ads per page.

I got into a discussion with one of the welders here at work about royal purple. he was trying to convince me it was the best stuff out there. . .now I'm not going to argue that he doesnt know what he's doing, he's got a 926hp dragster at home he just finnished building. however he didnt want to accept the fact RP is only a class 4 synthetic which means it still uses petroleum distilates where as AMSoil is a pure class 5 synthetic.

besides, RP turns just about everything it hits purple. . .

I just watched their video; it compared 10w30 cheap O’Reilly oil to Royal Purple 5w30 in a Chevy VZ4? V8. They say it gives you 8 more HP and 6 TQ buy just installing there oil in your engine and the longer you run it the more HP and TQ it will give you!
