Default Question about programmers

If any of you would care to share info, I'm trying to decide between the DiabloSport Predator, and the Superchips FlashPaq, I looked at the smarty but they don't improve shift firmness so I ruled it out. Anyone wish to share the good bad or ugly about any of them?
Thanks, and I owe all of you a thanks for a great forum with tons of good info.

200K+ miles might have something to do with the shift firmness...

You Might want to take a look at the Cumminsforum.com For that year and so forth....Most of those guys could give ya a better answer than I could about your Tuner....

I'd Go with the Quadzilla Xilerator, Or the Edge Juice W/Attitude myself though

The tranny shifts firm now, just with added power I'd like to firm it up a bit more, maybe I'm too old school, putting shift kits in Th350's and 700r4's to make them last longer. My truck was a salesmans truck, (he sells fire extinguishers) and averages about 45k per year (obviously) it had never had a trailer behind it before I bought it, I scratched the paint out of the receiver myself, and there is no 5th wheel plate or ball. He absolutely babied this thing.

And I'm still fighting the sudden power loss from the last stealership flash update, I'd just like to get back what went away......

you'll want to stay away from both of those boxes. As mentioned.... it only takes reading around to see they're crap boxes. In fact, Diablo has filed for bankrupcy. The smarty does change shift points and IMO.... is one of the best boxes on the market. I don't know that any of the boxes will make your truck shift better or harder.

If you're not looking for added power an only want a better trans for towing..... get a torque convertor and a performance valve body. That should be all you need. Expensive but, well worth it in the long run.

I assume you've read up on the Smarty so I won't say much but..... if you want some awesome power, better fuel mileage and over all better perfomance.... it's the box to get.

Many here run a Edge and like them but, it doesn't have the power. Quad has just released a new performance software but, I haven't seen much about it.

+1 to Ty Tq Conv is a definate.

BTW Ty what Tq. Conv an Valve body would you recommend? I'm looking to do this sometime in the near future, and should a input shaft and flex plate be on my list for me to run my 100hp setting full time?

Sorry if I kinda jacked your thread...
