not to sure so figured I would ask. I am about to get a HTT turbo along with a new ATS exhaust manifold. I am not to sure, but if my current stock manifold is cracked, would that make me loose boost on take off? Last night I took off from a red light just messing around, and it builds boost fine, but then feels like I loose it all, then it comes back, and then feels like it looses it all again. Not sure, but could that be my cracked manifold?

In March, I will be adding my HTT turbo along with the ATS exhaust manifold for my senior project.

 

Cracked manifold wouldnt cause that.

what boost #'s you seeing?

 

The highest I have seen is 28...but I hardly ever see that. Most of the time around 23 or 24 is the highest!

 

sounds like the wastegate might be opening and closing on ya

 

hmm...that sucks...well hopefully with the new turbo that wont happen anymore....all new turbos come with a new wastegate correct?

 

yup, they got new wastegates on them, also some dont even have a wastegate.
