That is a cool concept, but it must cost a fortune to retrofit a car with those doors.

 

that would solve alot of problems with dings on the door from some idiot parking to close to you at the store

 

Yeah, but you know that thing has got some sort of feature that prevents the car from rolling with the door open ( similar to the horn honking in reverse ) and you know that the door is gonna jam and get some poor soul stranded.
