IMHO, unless your pushing big power the exhaust manifold realy isnt worth it. neither is the intake. the stock one does quite well. but then again over about 550 is when you'll need to start looking at these things.

with that turbo I'd be more worried about your head lifting off and blowing out. a new head gasket and head studs will go a long way.

second, what kind of injectors are you running???

DREW! I was waiting for your reply!

I talked to the guy, Lucas, up at L&N in Boone NC. We talked about it. And this is what we came up with. We are going to go with the HTB2 62-12 turbo with the ATS Exhaust manifold and the 4 inch down pipe. He said head studs should wait, because if I ever go bigger, we will do o-rings, head studs, gaskets, and injectors at the same time. I am currently running 80 or 85 (cant remember) hp injectors. They are nice but I may go bigger later, so we were thinking wait for studs and rings later and just do the turbo, manifold, and down pipe now.

Whata think man?

you will be pushing that stock HG and studs hard with that setup. . .if you go with that combo, make sure you keep the waste gate set 30-35psi as you dont want to lift the head and pop the HG.

I would say go ahead and do the studs, o-ring, or even fire ring, and turbo that way you can run higher boost numbers.

I believe your right. It would be a while before bigger injectors. So might as well go with the HG and new studs now right? why not!

Thanks for your input....

BTW: I am heading down to see David (Parts/Service) to finally get my TPS fixed. Thats what was causing that up and down shift between 3rd and 4th the whole time!
