Default Two CEL's in three days

Hello All,
With 850 miles on my new truck (2008 Quad Cab 6.7) I prepared for a weekend trip to Gatlinburg, TN. On my way home from work friday, I got my first check engine light. So I went by the dealer at 4:30 and they reflashed my computer with the AL update. I then drove about 1.5 hours to Gatlinburg only for the light to come on again. So I went back by the dealer this morning and they told me that there was a new update (AO this time) but that the system was down from Dodge. So they said they were told to replace the oxygen sensor and reflash. So I guess I will go in wednesday to get updated again. Both times the NOX sensor triggered the CEL.
Anyone else experiencing the same problems?
I hope this doesnt continue forever!

this is a common occurance. . .there are alot of trucks that are having some issues with the O2 sensor. apparently the new module and flash take care of 99% of the trucks with issues.

no your not the olny one. . .furtunately dodge has and is still currently working the issue.

since this is realy the first year of all this emission crap, manufacturers are still cutting their teeth on this new technology.

I have over 11,000 on my 6.7, and I have had some episodes of the CEL coming on. Last summer it was coming on every day for about a week, throwing two codes related to the turbo. About a month ago it came on again, this time with a DPF-related code. I have never brought it in to the dealer for any service.

I have heard that any computer that is hooked to the 6.7 will void your warranty. But it sure would be nice to clear those codes myself. I know that these soft codes dont affect the performance of the vehicle, but it sure is an uneasy feeling when your new $40k truck has a little yellow light on!

Drew.....do I need to bust out my fiasco for some of these guys????

Wait until it comes to the point that you can add up what you've cost the dealer in time, parts, resources, hours and lost sales and it comes up to the $250,000 range and then you're talking a frustrating event.
