Get in the truck this am...and dang it's COLD!! Can't get the poor boy to warm up to save MY life. No one said yesterday it was gonna drop below freezing last night. So I didn't plug it in [:@]. I think I could actually get heat from my vents that last 3 blocks of my drive; which is over 15 miles of mostly city driving.

Then I get to the office only to find I don't have my pass for the gym. (Ok no great loss on that part.)

Head to the office, grab my coffee cup and head ot the kitchen. Now we have one of those high-speed coffee machines. Push three buttons and you've got a fresh ground - fresh brewed cup of coffee in 3 minutes. This thing is normally the highlight of my morning. But NOOOOO not this morning. I push the start button and start getting odd-not normal-bad sounds from my beloved machine. The substance that entered my cup in no way resembled coffee. So I look and the thing is pissing water every time it brew. OH NO NOT MY COFFEE MACHINE!!!

To top it off...where do I store my pass for the gym?? You guessed it in my wallet...so I can't eve go BUY coffee [:@][:@][:@][:@][:@]

So it is going to be a really long day trying to make due with tea [][][]

Thank God I work from home on Thursdays. Last time the machine took a dump it took em 3 days to get it fixed.

Sounds like you are having one of those days where you pick up the phone and someone on the other end says,

"Uhm, hello.......God called.....he said to tell you.....You Suck!"

 

NO! Not the coffee! No way I could tolerate working without my coffee.... You need to just take the day off and go home!

I even have some of my users trained if they catch me early in the morning they'll ask if I've had coffee yet before telling me about a problem.

Speaking of coffee.... off for cup #4

you have to stop drinking coffe! the gland in your brain which supplies the natural caffine is shriveling up!

I don't think that gland was installed correctly from the factory....and if it was I killed it YEARS ago!!!!

 

and to top it off....I'm quitting smoking (again) this week. So I should just hang a sign over my cube to warn my co-workers & not answer any phone calls or emails today.

 

There is only one more thing that could make you worse to be around and I'll just refrain from commenting any further. Otherwise I'll get my head chewed off.
