sounds like republican propaganda to me. seems like we were doing realy well before bush gave all the tax cuts to big buisness. cant hurt to take them back... big oil has the profits to spare right now... there setting record numbers in profit right now... i dont feal sorry for them... im willing to pay more tax for universal healthcare... becouse i wouldnt have to pay for insurance... hello canada... any way just my .02 hell i could be wrong.... but as the saying goes it took a clinton to cleanup after the first bush.... and its gonna take a clinton to clean up after this one...

yes they did go up. . .that I'll agree to, but why did they go up?
my theory, winter months puts a strain on the refining capabilities of this country, especialy for diesel since home heating fuel is the same thing. supply and demand in action. not only that, but remember that refinery fire in texas(I think thats where it was) not long ago. once again less supply available on the market. you also have to take into account oil is a futures market. even though we do not buy oil from opec, just the fact of them lowering production, or raising the price has an effect on those countries that dont. once again you have to look at the global market even effecting the market fluctuations here.
is this true. . maybe or maybe not. . .I just try and look at the non-greed side of market fluctuations.
