Default Diesel Secret

Has anyone ever heard of this stuff, used it, or know anyone who has. My buddy and I are looking into trying it out. Check this site out. It's pretty vague until you buy the book but you get the jist of it. Let me know what you think.

We got some veggie oil supplies, one is all the oil from a large college, and are working on some restaraunts. So hopefully we'll have enough to get started.

Its junk. IIRC what they do is sell you some secret additive that you mix with veggy oil or WVO, gas and PS. Go ahead and use it only if you have the $$ to fix what it screws up after using it.

We are using old cooking oil from restaurants, filtering it and then adding DieselSecretEnergys’ additive (1oz per 5 gal). The Surbarban runs great with it. There is not a diesel odor, common with the normal diesel fuels and it doesnt smoke like you see from regular diesel engines. One WARNING, DONT USE DIESEL SECRET ENERGY WITH THE NEWER DODGE TRUCKS OR ANY VEHICLE THAT HAS A PLASTIC GAS TANK!!! FOR SOME REASON, THE INSIDE OF THE PLASTIC GAS TANKS TURNS TO A TAR LIKE SUBSTANCE, AND THIS SLUDGE CLOGS THE FUEL LINES AND FILTERS. USE ONLY METAL TANK VEHICLES!!!!!!
I think it might be the DSE additive, but Im not certain. Otherwise our vehicle runs great on it.
Xialyne will melt plastic tanks.
This looks like a little problem.

Yeah, I didn't think it was gonna pan out. Glad to see you caught that before dumping some big cash into it.

the whole thing in in turning veggie oil into fuel is to remove glycerine by adding some sorth of alchool like methanol to break the chain of molecules

Looks like highley hyped snake oil.Too good to be true.

We're looking for a small used Bio-processor and we're gonna try it the old fashion way. I'm guessing that there's a bunch of people that thought this was gonna be theticket and once they saw how much work, mess, and oil were involved they quit.We got some pretty good lines on oil so far so we'll see. Looks like that's half the battle.

Like Woligator said above,
the scam with Diesel Secret seems to be trying to get you to pay a huge amount for the simple chemical to convert a fat to a paraffin:

Here's a few more reliable and truthful webpages on the subject of making your own biodiesel from animal or plant fats:
