Ok Cowboy, I / we've been patient long enough. About 2 months ago you were taking about hoods with scoops, and the cummins being the truck of future, hot rodders and all kinds of stuff leading us to believe that you had something cooking.

Where's Cowboy been?

 

He has been shooting! Season started last weekend.

I had to give up on the original plan because I found out that my wife's wonderful employer was not taking out enough tax money out of her check and we wound up owing money instead of getting back. What little money was left over after paying the IRS, went to diesel fuel. So, sorry no hood scoops, tiresor other fancy parts I had planned to buy this winter.

However, I did do what I call a $100 face lift and I was very pleased with it. I've already got the before pictures taken and I'll take the after pictures today when I get home.

I tihink you will like it. And yes it cost me right at $100 to do it.

 

LOL ... I remembered you saying that your shooting season started in March. How are you doing with it? Still a dead eye? When you get a chance, put that link up again with you running around like a madman shooting balloons

What kinda facelift did you do? You've got me curious now.

 

A facelift for yourself or the truck. $100 facelift wouldn't do sh*t for my face.

 

Sorry the pictures are a bit rough but you get the idea. I was goign to paint the grill black, but after I polished it to it's original factory shine, I just couldn't do it. I painted the hood with the same design I weas going to paint the scooped hood. I sprayed the bed liner in the back and sprayed the tank too. I'm happy with it.

 

Here's some other pics of the process. Man I just looked at the before pics and they are better than the after. We got 3 inches of snow over the weekend where I was shooting (that's a lot for around here). I'm going to wash the truck and get better pics of it this weekend!!!
