Default What should I look out for?

If all goes well I'm heading up north on Saturday to check out a truck...it's a '99 3500 dually 4x4 with a 24 valve Cummins (of course) and auto. It seems pretty well optioned out, leather interior and all. It has 230,000kms (about 143,000 miles). What kind of problems and issues should I be looking out for specifically?

on that year the main problem is the lift pump. Ask if it has been replaced. Also check the block casting number (lower left side). If its a 53 then you may want to steer clear. Those blocks are prone to cracking due to a flaw in the casting. If you do buy it, have the lift pump pressure checked.
