I would have to say black as well. I think it would look best as black on your silver rig.

I am actually contemplating getting a black one for my truck, but my truck is black.

The silver box on that silver truck just won't be a close enough color match unless you paint it to match. I'd go with a black one if it were me, the contrast will look better.

He's larger than the breed standard. Usually males grow up to 85 lbs.

Ranger is about 120 lbs.
