Update on Superlift install
As you may remember, I did a charge back on the shop who did the inststall of my 6" Superlift. Well the money is sitting back in my account now. For how long I don't know but for the time being I have my $$ back!
I went to another reputable shop and got an estamate correct the damaged components and install the rest of the kit correctly. The estamate came to $500 not including the new alignment that will be needed.
I also call Superlift in Monroe LA. and informed them of the problems I have had with their "Dealer". And it turnes out mine is not the forst complaint. But he did tell me the other complaint they got was not as severe as what I described happened to me. Basicly they say they will follow up with the dealer and may remove them from their "dealer list".
He also sent me out some new parts to replace the damaged parts on my truck. I got them last night, I got new rear blocks, u-bolts, and Sway bar links.
So heres the deal. I don't need the rear blocks and they sent the wrong ones anyway. They are for a 4.5" lift I think. They look like 2" maybe 3" blocks, hell they might even be for another truck, I don't know.
If anyone needs rear blocks and/or slightly damaged sway bar links, let me know. I am keeping the u-bolts though!!

Has the other shop doen the work yet? What did they say when they saw the hack job from the first shop?
What did your CC company say? Where they cool? What kinda hoops did you hafta jump through?
All in all it's a shame that Superlift has to take it in the chin like this and it's them who has to step up to make you feel happy. It wasn't really their parts that you had a problem with, it was the installer.

No it's not like that at all. I didn't call Superlift to complain about the "Superlift". I called to complain about the shop who is representing Superlifts interest and doing a $hity job!! And I didn't ask for replacement parts either, I even offered to pay for them. I also let them know that I am not unhappy with the product, it is the service that I am unhappy with and I thought that they should know how their product is being represented by one of their dealers. The free replacement parts were not Superlifts responsibility but yes I'll take them if you are offering. As far as the credit card goes, they basically put the funds back in your account and they investigate the claim. If they find that my story and reasoning is correct the money stays there. If they feel the shop did what they were suppose to and performed the service that was payed for, the will return the $$ back to the shop. And no, the other shop has not done the work and I won't take it to be fixed by a shop. I will perform the needed repairs and adjustments my self and take it to be aligned, like I should have done in the first place!! But I do have the estimate and pictures and receipts, should it go to small claims.I have told my story and I hope it helps someone out who may be looking at having work done there. I have had 3 separate opportunities to evaluate this shop and my conclusion is, they have no idea what they are doing!! And this is not because I am angry, itjust plainTruth.
i had a guy tint my windows on the Dakota that i used to have and he not only broke all the clips on my door panels but also cracked both. to top it off he did the worst job i have ever seen and after a month the tint was peeling off. after that experience i never let anyone other than myself or one of the guys at my dad's shop work on my ram unless i am right beside it. it isn't worth it to me to have someone else mess something up on my truck when i am so careful with it.
