with 2 dedicated gfi's, Yimmy is able to run his 120v compressor and other items simultaniously.

Yep, nevermind, I went to go click on this thread and I remembered you said they were dedicated circuits, so yeah, that makes sense lol.

my philosphy on electrical when I do power in a house is to look at the worst case scenario of use. there for, more than 1 circuit should be available in the garage. I also go 20 amp vs 15 amp as a standard. how many people use items only rated for 11amps?

I was Sea Bee trained and we didn't belive there was a circuit small than a 20 amp or a wire smaller than a 12.

I stuck to commerical when i'm working as an Electrician, I use ato love to bend pipe but it's becoming an lost art.

I do not believe in anything less than 20 amps either. if ya need smaller, fuse it down at the unit I say

conduit bending is fun!

I had an employer ask me to test a supposed messed up bender. so I bent a lawn chair frame

Do you guys use plastic boxes or metal?
I could never understand why metal boxes are used with electricity.

Donny. . .Ive sometimes wondered that too. . unless it is used as a ground itself. but then again Ive actualy seen where the metal boxes were just by themselves.

My work benches at work are actualy tied into the main building ground with wrist straps when I have to put some equipment under the knife.
