I just picked up my new Ram 2500 SLT 4x4. I stayed with black and I am in the process of picking out some wheels and tires. I am leaning towards the black Rock Star wheels. For now I am going to leave my suspension as is. Does anyone have any suggestions for tires and tire sizes. If anyone has mounted these wheels post some pics so I can get a good idea. Thanks for any and all your help.

 

You need to pay attention to the wheel offset. If same as stock then you can run 315's otherwise you probably won't. I put these on my '08, http://www.procomptires.com/pxa7089.htmland a Kore Recon suspension. I have a set of worn BFG's 315's and the clearance is about 1/2 inch at rear fender when turning the wheels so I am probably going with a 305/70 tire next. Not a lot of selection though, probably go with Terragrapplers or Open Country M/T's

 

Don't know what offsets will work right with aftermarket wheels but 315's will rubwith a stock suspensionon stock wheels at a full turn.A simplelevel kit would fix that though.Imay be wrong, somebody correct me if I am, butI believe you can run H2 Hummer wheelswith 315's onthe stock suspension and the offset is such that it will not rub at full turns. They're great looking wheels that need a slight mod to fit but can be had for cheap off ebay. Good plan going all black these trucks look awesome that way. My truck's got a little shiny chrome/aluminum on it -bed rail caps, toolbox, and step bars.I wishI had left my truck mostly stock for a while after purchasingto wait and see what looked best atforums. I definitely would'veblacked it out if I had.
