Sorry to hear about your bad day, and I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but did the water get high enough to get into the walls? If so you may want to ask your insurance adjuster if it could lead to mold problems. If it did, they probably will pay for you to have the drywall opened up to prevent it from getting started!

 

Dang it Buzzy!! That bites the big one. At least you had good neighbors and they called you.

When my sisters tank blew they were out of town and no one said squat to them. Came home and the floor under the water heater had already started to sink because of the water.

Ripping out their floor was NOT the way I wanted to spend my leave time but hey you gotta do what you gotta do to help out family (even if you don't like em )

 

What kind of piping was it that burst?
