I was really busy today and forgot about it, but tomorrow I am gonna hook up my computer and see if I can detect anything. I want to see how "invisible" "things" are... Will report my findings...
You should screw with him and put it in limp mode and don't say anything.

I went with our 5500 GMC Duramax ramp truck. Both of the Dodge ramp trucks were busy elsewhere. Hewas sad to see the Dodge being hauled on a Duramax. And the left front tire was laid too far out to drive anywhere...

Is that an antenna ball he has there?

Where is the Dodge flag?

I know Drew was looking for some chromies, perhaps he would like to participate in your swap program if you have one, and for the love of God order him some wheel well liners. You know how hard it is to scrape all of the rubber out of the naked wheel wells.

I love spending other peoples money ...

Guy's, I just have to say that David and the guy's at James O'neal exceeded my expectations. very nice guy's and beasty drives better now than she did before the 'incident' I'm pretty sure it has alot to do with the shocks. Also something else I noticed was less 'slop' in my steering. before there was a little slop in the steering. . .all gone now.

I realy like the leveling kit, and while David did warn me about the possability of DW, there wasnt even the slightest attempt for the front end to 'shimmy' I also made sure to leave the needed burnout. . .scared a minivan that was behind me when I came out of the drive sideways[8D]

now, about the 'findings'. David was able to find a trace that something was there. However I believe the reason why he was able to see something was the fact I went back to stock right before he picked me up. this would acount for the low percentages shown through the scan tool. Now. if I had driven the truck for a day or so the percentages would have been higher, but there is a way to see smarty if the ECM is programmed right before you hit the dealership.

Now in talking with david, you 06 and up guy's with the CANBUSS have it worse than us guy's with the old setup. the new DRB scan tool will show graphs and more info than what can be seen through my ECM.

so in conclusion, can it be seen. yes, BUT only if the operator knows what they are looking at, and know what they are looking for. The regular joe that doesnt have alot of time running the scan tool I doubt they would know what to look for. While talking with David he did say that the Smarty is hard to detect, but can be seen.

and yes, I did pull the TST. I'm wanting to check out the pinouts and do a continuity chack on the harness to figure out whats going on with it cutting out on me.

Once again. . David. .THANK YOU!!!!!!

With all the crap we all have to deal with every day during the course of our adult lives, it is refreshing to hear that there are still some that take pride in what they do and go out of their way to do it. Props to David and the guys at O'Neals.

BTW, David, you need to post a pic of that brown 2-tone mega cab dually for Donny. . .I think it was one of those Resistol trucks. I know he would drive down to GA and trade in his truck for it
