Hey 94rt10ohio.........Thanks for voting for one of the CTD's. Nice of you to nominate one as well! BUT, I have to say that you are the exception. It's not very likely that anyone else from the 2nd. Gen side voted for one of the CTD's.
All one has to do is see the thread on the TOTM over in the 2nd. Gen side to see the support being generated there. Someone even mentioned how the CTD's vote was split to help the 2nd. Gen. contestant. Quite a tactical move there.

It's all agreed that each the trucks are nice in their own way. Silver_Dodge has an extremely clean truck. Well preserved for it's age. As with my truck, I've built it up for heavy towing and comfort. My upgrades and mods were somewhat expensive, particulary the transmission...7 grand on that alone.

Thanks again for crossing over to the CTD's side for what it was worth.

 

Please don't hate me, but it was me that nominated Silver_Dodge.. and thats where my vote was too, I have a weakness for clean well done 2nd gens, it reminds of my old 2nd gen.. and I obvioulsy have a weakness for silver rigs..

I didn't know that there was a thread over in the 2nd gen section. I'm gonna go check it out. Ya gotta give Props to those guy's though. The 2nd gen forum has quite a following, which of course I dig.

There was no deliberate intent to have two CTD's against one gasser that I am aware of. What I was saying was, since there happened to be two CDT's, I think all the Cummins guys voted for the one they liked best, but that effectively split the Cummins members votes between those two trucks. I bet if there would have only been one CTD, it would have been different.

My guys in the 2nd Gen really came out hard for me. If you read that thread, it was not solicted by me at all. I didn't go campaigning for votes. I really like both trucks I ran against, and honestly didn't think I had a chance. Hell, I almost voted for Littlefoot myself. His truck is what I hope my next truck will look like.

 

Silver, NOBODY is trying to throw you under the bus at all. You're a stand up cat who I admire, and you've done leaps and bounds to help fellow 2nd gen Ram owners out.PROPS to you brotha !!
